A photography road trip in community. What is it?
The Driver’s vision:
“Because traveling to the other side of the world doesn’t guarantee an authentic adventure but going on a road trip in community does.
There is nothing more exciting than a good meeting and the road trip is the perfect time to bond and have a great adventure. You’ll always find a good adventure buddy to go for a walk between workshops or a swim, listen to music, play spikeball, and have a good laugh (or drink). There are plenty of ways to spend your days at The Commodore Hostel, sharing good times with friends is far at the top of the list.
A 5-day road trip for all photography enthusiasts wishing to go further in their technique and thus better share their stories.
Where do we go?
In Brittany, France
Embark on an exceptional road trip in a 100% natural setting in Brittany to learn the different techniques of photography but also to perfect your style.
Brittany is THE most beautiful region of France (Breton word), so it seems obvious to make a photography road trip here. The region offers a multitude of different landscapes and colors that are unique to it. Accompanied by Louise Garin & Yves Quéré, both professional photographers, they will help you discover Brittany from an angle never seen before.
From Quimper, the bus will travel the roads of South Finistère, from La Torche to the Pointe du Raz, passing through typical Breton villages to help you discover some incredible spots. You will have the opportunity to go on an excursion to the Pointe du Raz and inland to learn about adventure photography.
Between the different workshops, you will have the opportunity to eat pancakes, go swimming at the beach and visit the coast.
The program.
For 5 days you will be accompanied throughout the course by 2 professional photographers: Louise Garin and Yves Quéré. Together they will help you to progress in the mastery of techniques but also find your style through 4 workshops:

- Storytelling – workflow in photography
Each workshop lasts between ½ day and 1.5 days for the adventure/outdoor workshop and includes a material review, a photo shooting guide, a review of your best photos taken during the workshop, a retouching review. The opportunity to work on :
- Depth of field
- Aperture
- Speed & movement
Both of them excel in their style which you can find on Instagram:

Your new routine.

Lunch and a digestive nap on the beach.
Debrief and review of your best photos of the day.
Have dinner with the group. Try to catch a glimpse of the famous green ray, the last ray of the sun, for the third evening in a row.
