An apnea road trip in community. What is it?
The Driver’s vision:
“Because travelling to the other side of the world doesn’t guarantee an authentic adventure but going on a road trip in community does”.
Because there is nothing more thrilling than a good meeting and the road trip is the perfect time to bond and have a great adventure. You’ll always find a good adventure companion to go swimming, listen to music, play spikeball and have a good laugh (or drink). There are plenty of ways to spend your days at The Commodore Hostel, sharing good times with friends is way up there on the list.
5 days to explore the aquatic world, learn to focus your energy, and finally find that feeling of letting go.
Where do we go?
Brittany, France.
Brittany is full of snorkelling spots. The diversity of the seabed is impressive, switching from sandy to rocky. The aquatic landscapes are magnificent even at shallow depths and the water can be of tropical transparency. Marine encounters are also very common.
The programme is also varied off the water with walks on the Crozon peninsula and in the Bigouden country. You can walk along the coast through typical villages, take the time to relax, have a picnic on the beach, swim and why not eat a small pancake at the end of the day?
Mentored by Marine Grosjean.
During the whole trip, you will be accompanied by Marine Grosjean, a native of Finistère and a (very) high level sportswoman with a diploma for the supervision of freediving courses.
The tracks that you will open with Marine during this week:
- Letting go
- Reconnecting with your body / listening to yourself
- Calming and confidence thanks to the ocean and the natural environment.
To achieve this, we have planned everything :
- Introduction to freediving in the pool (2 sessions)
- Theoretical courses: ventilation, relaxation, compensation.
- 3 excursions of 2 hours at sea, including a dynamic outing – an exploration of the sea bed
- Strengthening/stretching sessions – every day
Practice freediving in complete safety with other people of your level.
Ils ont voyagé en bus.
Your new routine.
Being woken up by the smell of coffee and pancakes and having breakfast on the terrace.
Theoretical ventilation exercises before your first sea dive. The excitement is building.
Lunch and a digestive nap on the beach.
Bus transport to a new diving spot.
Have dinner with the group. Try to catch a glimpse of the famous green ray, the last ray of the sun, for the third evening in a row.
